Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were very nice, warm, and clean. However, they could have been cleaner, and the shared bathroom was in poor state of repair. Located at the top of the building, the rooms were well away from any noise.
The hotel offers a homey experience with lovely rooms, although our room lacked a private bathroom. The cleanliness and comfort were spot on, but the absence of an in-room bathroom could be inconvenient. The service was a bit hit and miss, with some staff being very helpful, especially during family meals, while others came off as arrogant and ignorant. The location worked well for my event in Girvan, though the surroundings were not the most pleasant. Dining was a mixed bag with a relaxing breakfast setup, but limited choices. The facilities were decent, with a nice surprise of having Sky Sports in the room.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were clean and well-located away from noise, the service left much to be desired. The location was convenient for those traveling by train, but the dining options were limited. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
